Life in Matsudo 松戸の暮らし
Matsudo City lies in the semi-suburban region of Chiba which lies in the greater region of Tokyo. Matsudo City provides a clean and quiet environment for students undertaking studies and is generally less crowded over places such as central Tokyo. Matsudo is also a more prime location for students as being a less populated district provides cheaper living expenses. The closest hot-spot to Matsudo City is Tokyo; one of the world’s most famous cities, within the several districts is and endless source of entertainment and unique experiences. • Sightseeing: Matsudo City beholds many wonders. The most popular is Sakura Doori (Lit. Cherry Blossom Street), which runs for an enormous 5 miles. Lining the street are thousands of Sakura trees which bloom every spring in time for the local Hanami (flower viewing festival). Other prominent locations for sightseeing are Edogawa River which holds the annual Hanabi Taikai (Fireworks festival), Manmaji and Hondoji temple, Yakiri River and Tokugawa History Park among other locations. School Life 学校生活・行事 Aside from personal endeavours into Tokyo, M.I.S hosts excursions to places like Tokyo Disney Land, one of the most popular theme parks in the world as well as other locations and events in Japan including local Matsuri (festivals) and other events. Part-Time Work in JAPAN アルバイト・仕事 Students are able to undertake Arubaito (Part time work) within the local region which is a great way to learn, use and communicate more confidently in Japanese and to earn extra allowance for personal use.
