Student Visa Course
Study Japanese and Experience Japan with Matsudo International School
Mastering a language requires constant practice and exposure, in order to nurture not just the language aptitude, but a deeper understanding of the culture. The Student Visa Course allows students to live and study in Japan for up to two years. Course intakes occur in January, April, July and October, each with varying lengths, goals and entry requirements. Depending on the level of the course you wish to take, there may be more than one intake per year.
Classes sizes are kept between 12 – 20 pupils, so as to keep the learning environment personal and allow each pupil to speak and be heard. Classes run for approximately 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday in either a morning or afternoon session. Students are also given assignments for completion outside of class.
Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking and Understanding – our curriculum is designed to build a strong foundation of these fundamental aspects of the Japanese language. All students will receive a Certificate of Completion after they graduate. We also encourage our students to take the JLPT exam as it is a world-recognised certification for Japanese language aptitude, and required for most further endeavors in Japan.
The first step is to get in touch with us so that we may find a suitable intake and class for you. The process of applying for a student visa in Japan is requires time and involvement from the applicant, so we would urge all potential students to apply at least 6 months ahead of the course start date. Please view the admissions page for more details on application dates.
